I would have to agree with the last poster. Although I'd put it more tactfully. There is a great animosity amongst all the different "factions" at this company (IT, "production", biz def); I personally heard 3 or 4 different managers outlining plans to take down other managers. In addition, there was seemingly no room for job advancement (I saw no one promoted or given a raise during my time there, and people who were there longer said they hadn't either) and there is no direction for the company. I never was told in person or received an email outlining a plan or direction and not once was my hard work or even existence acknowledged by anyone in management. When I asked about what the company direction was to my supervisor, they laughed and said there was none.
The higher-ups were woefully under-qualified and staffed my Mr. G's personal friends or acquaintances (rumor has it, one of them was Mr. G's waiter, but he was a REALLY GOOD waiter). I left very quickly after starting and have heard that another 10-15 people have quit since I have.
I would only recommend working there IF you absolutely LOVE web 2.0, have ZERO experience in it, have no personal goals or aspirations of moving forward in your career. They'll pay you like 35-45K and never expect more from you than to follow everything your manager (a friend of Brad's) says without question.
